I don’t understand people who like the Knightley/McFadden version of P&P. Aside from perhaps the Netherfield Ball scene and the fact that Jane isn’t ugly, there is nothing about it that works for me, and I’m generally pretty forgiving when it comes to film adaptations. It just blows so bad.
