I think it is only fair that someone warn you ahead of time that this season of Downton Abbey is going to rip your heart out and crap on it.
Do you like being happy? Do you like for your favorite characters to be happy? Because Julian Fellowes does not like either of those things.

It’s so, so common on tv to give women make-overs in order to make them fit the standard of beauty, but the make-under takes far more skill, and I think Downton Abbey did this brilliantly.
Seriously, who are these people? Wow.
